“Understanding Your Grief” is a year-round, eight-week educational support program for adults. Led by our bereavement counselors, participants receive a free copy of Wolfelt’s “Understanding Your Grief” to learn about the 10 essential touchstones for finding hope and healing through loss. Participants also will build the basic skills needed to use grief as an opportunity for growth. Hosted at or near our hospice offices.

“Touching Our Grief” is a monthly support group open to adults who have suffered the loss of a family member or friend and are seeking support and education. Our expert bereavement counselors offer a safe space to give and receive support from others.

“Braving Grief” is a peer support group for children (kindergarten and above), teens and adults with age-appropriate activities that facilitate discussion and sharing. Held at the EveryStep Grief & Loss Services office (home of Amanda the Panda), trained volunteers lead each group with the goal of promoting peer support and connectivity. Dinner and childcare are available for children younger than kindergarten upon request.
