The best way to describe the relationship between IMT Insurance and EveryStep is that we are fans of one another – big, big fans.
For EveryStep, we know that we can depend on IMT whenever the need for collaboration arises. Wherever the EveryStep Foundation is, IMT is by their side. From their amazing yearlong sponsorship of our programs, wrapping and delivering Cheer Boxes, competing in the Amazing Fundracer, and the countless other volunteer opportunities IMT employees tackle - EveryStep knows IMT is a partner.
While IMT answers the call from EveryStep for whatever we need, Corporate Relations Lead Kelly Field says there is one cause in particular that draws IMT in.
"For us, it's the connection we've formed with EveryStep's NFP (Nurse-Family Partnership) program and the nurses who bring it to life," says Kelly Field, "They are, quite simply, superheroes. These are the magic makers - the true heroes - helping mamas and babies live their happiest, healthiest lives no matter what obstacles the world throws their way."
EveryStep's NFP program walks new moms through pregnancy and the start of parenthood. Participants are matched with a Nurse Home Visitor during pregnancy. That dedicated nurse then guides mom through her pregnancy and childbirth, then stays with the new family through the child's second birthday. The intimate care provides moms with a personal escort through some of the happiest yet scariest years of their lives.
"We're grateful for every chance we get to learn about this program, these nurses, and the families they serve, and we walk away from those meetings in awe of the resilience, strength, and heart we see in all of them," Kelly says, "It's been the most meaningful part of this partnership."
Kelly credits EveryStep's Claire Reiman with opening IMT'S eyes to EveryStep and our mission. "EveryStep has long held a strong, credible reputation in the Central Iowa community, so we were aware of their work in a general sense long before we became true partners," Kelly says, "What really brought us into the EveryStep universe was a personal connection - one built through Claire - who introduced us to the full scope of their programs and the people behind them. That connection turned a passing awareness into a genuine partnership."
It is a partnership that both EveryStep and IMT hope to see continue to flourish. "Our vision at IMT is to provide peace of mind in the moments that matter, and that's exactly what we see EveryStep's programs and teams deliver every single day," Kelly says, "It comes down to a common thread of showing up for people when they need it most, even if we approach it from different angles."
