Molly Gosselink Named as VP of Community Health Services

EveryStep is pleased to announce Molly Gosselink has joined the nonprofit organization’s senior leadership team as vice president of community health services. Gosselink comes to EveryStep with extensive experience in maternal and child health.

“EveryStep has a longstanding history of providing services to families and individuals in ways that meet them where they are at,” says Gosselink. “The organization continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the communities, and I wanted be a part of that exciting work.”

Gosselink holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Iowa College of Nursing and a master’s degree in public health from Des Moines University. Her career includes more than a decade as a direct care registered nurse, as well as reproductive health nurse consultant with Iowa Department Health & Human Services, director of nursing operations for Universal Pediatrics (Iowa and South Dakota) and customer success manager with Unite Us, a collaborative health care organization.

“My entire career has been focused on supporting families through transitions in their lives. I love seeing how people can thrive when they get the care, support and education they need,” says Gosselink. “I fully believe supporting individuals and families builds strong communities.”

In her new role at EveryStep, Gosselink will direct and support the leaders and staff of EveryStep’s community health programs, which empower clients through free health care visits, support and education. Gosselink also will help develop strategies to sustain those nonprofit services and build upon the positive outcomes experienced by clients in EveryStep’s many pregnancy, parenting, child development, and immigrant and refugee programs.

Gosselink is originally from Newton, Iowa and now resides in the Des Moines metro area with her husband and four children.

EveryStep has been offering nonprofit care and support for Iowans since 1908, with at least one of its 30-plus programs in each of Iowa’s 99 counties. Staff and programs provide support and education to young moms; assistance to immigrants and refugees; in-home care to people who are ill, injured or facing the end of life; and compassionate support to families during times of grief and loss.
